Tuition payment plan is made up of (9) equal payments. Each payment is due on the first class of each month from September to May. A separate fee is charged for summer classes. There is a total of 33 weeks in our regular dance season. The payment breakdown is as follows:
There is a non-refundable annual Registration Fee of $25.00 per student which is put towards administrative and insurance expenses.
There are NO refunds for missed classes with the exception of long-term illness or physical injury, provided there is a doctor’s note and the school has been advised. Make-up lessons are available at the teacher’s discretion.
Extra Technique classes:
Students interested in additional classes may attend same level classes from September to January free of charge, provided space is available.
Family Discount:
For families with two or more children taking more than two classes each per week, will receive their third class per week at half price. (Does not refer to Dance Company students).
Class Placement:
Placement is made according to age and the ability of the student rather than the number of years a student has been studying dance. Students showing exceptional progress in a class may be transferred to a more advanced class.
Attendance:
Regular attendance and promptness is expected of every student. Tardiness disrupts a class and does not allow the student proper warm-up time which is essential in all dance classes. Latecomers will have to observe the class until the instructor gives permission for participation. Please notify the school if you will not be attending class for any reason. Any student absent for two consecutive weeks without notifying the school, will be removed from the class roster and may be replaced with a waiting list student. Irregular attendance throughout the year may result in dismissal.
Costumes:
Costumes must be purchased if you wish to perform in our end-of-year show. Costume payments are accepted from October through December. All costume balances must be paid in full by December 15. There are no refunds given, for any reason, after that date. If a costume has not been paid for, it will not be ordered.
Dance Attire:
It is absolutely essential that the correct dance clothes be worn to all classes. Any student not in proper dance attire may be permitted to observe the class only.
No Dress Code Weeks:
Students may wear different color leotards and tights in February and April.
